Flavors: Woody notes accompanied by vanilla, toasty and cocoa aromas, then the fruit reveals itself with notes of blackcurrant and small red fruits.
Features :
Dress : Garnet with brilliant purple reflections.
Nose : Elegant with woody aromas and notes of vanilla, toast and cocoa.
Mouth : A round attack with plenty of volume. The mid-palate is dense and structured around overripe tannins. The finish is persistent, leaving a rich and generous wine.
Use :
Food and Wine Pairings: Marinated or grilled game, rib-eye steak, duck breast, lamprey à la bordelaise, veal axoa, country-style or characterful terrines, pan-fried ceps, ceps à la bordelaise, chocolate desserts and chocolate fondant.
Serving Temperature: Serve at around 16°C. Decanting is recommended.
